Characteristics
- Environmental Friendly
The water soluble film is a green environmental product. It is verified by microorganism tests that PVA is non toxic and doesn’t restrain form the growth of microorganism and can be degraded totally. PVA film will be decomposed into water and carbon dioxide.
- Water Solubility
Solubility is related to PVA film thickness and temperature. Related data is shown as below.
- Dissolving Temperature:
Type C: >15℃
Type M: >45℃
Type H: >65℃
Type E: >90℃

- Transparence and Luster
Water soluble PVA film has an excellent gas barrier to oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and so on, when the humidity is low, it permit moisture and NH3 to penetrate.
- Fresh and Fragrance Preservation.
PVA film has an excellent fragrance preservation of the contents and can keep products moisture and fresh as well.
- Good Printability
Water soluble PVA film has the strong polarity and the excellent printability. Presently it has been widely used in the field of special printing, for example, water transfer printing.
- Good Anti Static Properties
Because water soluble film has a lot of hydroxyl groups in molecule, it is uncharged. If PVA film is used for product, it could keep products out of dust.
- High Strength and Weathering Resistance
PVA film has good tenacity,tension strength and anto tearing strength that ranks high among all kinds of flms,flexing resistance is 10 times to other films. It has excellent weathering resistance and service life is very long.
- Good heat Sealability
PVA film has a good heat scalability that it is suitable for resistance sealing and high frequency sealing. And the heat sealing strength is related to the temperature, humidity, pressure and duration.
- Resistance to Oil and Chemical Solvent The water soluble PVA film has a good characteristic to resist the oils and fats such as animal oil, vegetable oils, mineral oils,fats, organic solvents. However, it can be affected by strong acid, strong base, chlorine free radical and some special chemical which can react with PVA, so it isn’t fit for packing the above things.
- Moisture Permeability
PVA film, which is similar to cellophane has a high moisture permeabilitu. If using PVA film to pack the hot things, it will not produce droplet.
- Anti Fake
With a chatacteristic of ant fake, PVA film can be used as a tool for quality security,to extend the quality of life cycle.

Applications of PVA Films:
- Embroidery
Traditionally, people use nn woven fabric in embroidery, but it can result in waste and fade in color while washing.
But using PVA film, it can be solved by cold water, so you can wash away the film without damaging the clothes. And it takes place of non woven fabrics as it can avoid textiles deformation and fading in high temperature.
- Mold Releasing
PVA film can bear 220 ,so it can be used as an excellent mold releasing agent when parts are manufactured with unsaturated polyester, epoxide resin or other thermosetting resin.
- Water Transfer Printing
Transfer printing is applicable for a wide variety of packaging materials, including glass, plastic, metal, wood, porcelain and other special surface. PVA film is often used in unregular objects when it is need to print.

1) Packaging of Infection Control Laundry Bag
With the characteristic f environmental friendly, water solubility, and high resistance, it can avoid the risk of contamination and cross infection to staff and laundry personnel by using the PVA bag. And the bags need not be handled until the wash is complete.
2) Clothes Packing
PVA bag is highly transparent and lustrous anti static, and it is a good barrier to air, that it can used for packing in order to keep nitrogen from turning the clothes into yellow.

It has good air barrier and resistance to oil, and cloud preserve food product to avoid dust and static
4) Agriculture Usage
Seeds are packaged in tape shape at regular intervals using water soluble PVA film. It can not only prevent the seeds from being blown away by wind and eaten bu animals, and also can keeo moisture in the sand.
5) Chemical Packing
Chemical usually has the problem of high concentration and hyper toxicity, and do harm to human being. By using PVA bag, infection coning from this kind of material can be greatly reduce.

6) Dog Waste Bag
